FAQ
The Ins And Outs of How We Do Business
-
Do you bring cleaning supplies and equipment?Yes we do! Don't worry about restocking cleaning supplies, we've got you covered.
-
When do I pay for service? You will be charged at the beginning of every month. We save your payment information on our secure online payment platform, so you don't have to think about billing. Everything is automatic, easy, and clear.
-
Why are some other cleaning services cheaper than yours? The truth is if you think a professional is expensive wait till you hire an amateur. The underground market seems less expensive on the surface but in the long run it really isn’t. What is your time worth? Cheaper services generally require you to find your janitor, verify their background, train them, and provide all the supplies for cleaning. You have to manage, supervise, and pay their payroll taxes despite their claim that they are an “independent contractor” (the IRS almost never agrees therefore you are liable for all federal withholding taxes and labor law compliance). The “savings” is not worth the risk. With K&J Cleaning you are receiving a premium, insured, tax-compliant service. Each of our employees is thoroughly trained and screened.
-
What if I'm not satisfied? Our work is 100% guaranteed. If you are not satisfied we will return and re-clean any unsatisfactory areas, or give you a partial reimbursement if we are not able to re-clean for you.
-
What if I need some extra tasks or services? We can do what you want! Just contact us the day before to make your special requests and we will quote you a price for the additional time.
aboutus
K&J Cleaning was started in 2017 by two best friends, Kristen and Joy. What started out as a side hustle to help some local friends, has quickly turned into a full time job serving our community. We are proud to be a women-owned small business providing jobs, great service, and happy customers in the State College area.
We know it’s important to you to have a clean and welcoming environment for employees and customers. However, you didn’t go into business to clean toilets or empty paper shredders. But we did! We are currently taking on new clients and we would love to serve you by taking care of the everyday cleaning tasks.
