Looking for a seasonal job where you can stay active, work with a great team, and earn some extra money?

K&J Cleaning is hiring 10–15 team members to help clean student apartments during move-out and move-in season in State College.

No cleaning experience is necessary. We'll provide all training, cleaning supplies, and equipment. We're simply looking for dependable people who show up, work hard, and take pride in doing a quality job.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday

• 9:00 AM–5:00 PM (or until the day's apartments are complete)

• One-hour unpaid lunch break

• Seasonal position beginning August 5 and running through August 21 (or until all assigned apartments are completed).

We ask that employees be available for at least 80% of the scheduled workdays. We understand that vacations and prior commitments happen—we just ask that you can be here for most of the season.

What You'll Do

• Deep clean vacant student apartments

• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize living spaces

• Clean kitchens and bathrooms

• Follow a detailed cleaning checklist

• Work as part of a team to complete apartments efficiently without sacrificing quality

What We're Looking For

• Reliable and show up when scheduled

• Self-motivated and able to stay on task

• Comfortable following instructions and checklists

• Efficient without cutting corners

• Positive and respectful toward teammates

• Willing to work hard and take pride in their work

You don't have to be an experienced cleaner, we can teach cleaning. What we're really looking for is someone with a strong work ethic who can be counted on.

Physical Requirements

This is an active job. Applicants should be able to:

• Be on their feet for most of the day

• Carry a vacuum and cleaning supplies

• Bend, kneel, and reach as needed

• Walk up and down stairs

• Have reliable transportation to and from work in State College

Pay & Perks

• $17.00 per hour
